Bybee Farms LLC v. Snake River Sugar Company

BWS attorneys represented Washington sugar beet growers (and members in SRSC) in an action alleging bad faith business practices arising out of the co-op’s failure to repurchase the growers shares and in interfering with the growers’ efforts to sell their shares to other coop members.

A jury ordered SRSC to pay more than $800,000 to the growers, finding that the coop had breached the covenant of good faith and fair dealing.
