Norco Windows and Jeld-Wen v. HartfordU.S. DIstrict Court, District of Idaho BWS attorneys were retained to sue Hartford for bad faith refusal to provide insurance coverage for the defense and settlement of a large class-action lawsuit. Hartford filed a motion for summary judgment seeking a ruling that it owed no duty to provide insurance coverage to the plaintiffs. BWS, on behalf of the plaintiffs, filed a cross-motion for summary judgment seeking a ruling from the court requiring Hartford to provide insurance coverage for the defense of the class action. The Court granted BWS's motion for summary judgment and shortly after, Hartford settled the lawsuit.
