Brent Bastian

Brent is a tenacious advocate who represents individuals and corporations in a wide variety of complex commercial disputes.  He has played a significant role in several recent high-profile cases, including defending Tamarack Resort in a $250-million foreclosure proceeding, and defending timber magnate Timothy Blixseth from a $350-million fiduciary duty claim.  Brent joined the firm in 2008 after returning home to Boise from Dallas, Texas, where he practiced with the large international firm of Patton Boggs.  Brent is a 2004 graduate of Tulane University School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude, and a 2000 graduate of Boise State University, where he graduated cum laude.

Brent is married and spends most of his free time playing whatever villain his three very active little boys tell him needs to be conquered that day; by all accounts, his Darth Vader impression is particularly good.
